Luxy Farm CSA Policy

CSA Sign Up - When you sign up online, a secure, online member profile is created for you with your share option, your pick-up location, and your account activity. You can view and edit your account, payment information, or password.
Payment - You can pay for your CSA membership by Interact e-transfer, cash or cheque.
Weekly pick ups - Please remember to pick up your order or have a friend or family member do so, at the designated time and location. Be sure to bring your own bags and check your name off the list upon pick up.
Missed Pick Ups - If you miss your pick up, you can arrange to collect your vegetables at the farm by 5pm on Thursday. Otherwise, we will donate your share to our local food bank.  Please mark down all of your pick up dates on your calendar!

Vacation Option - If you are planning a vacation, you may put your account on hold at least 2 days before the pickup day you are going to miss.  Upon your return, you can double up on missed boxes by adding a vacation box from our online store, for no extra charge.  *If you forget to put your account on hold before you leave and we harvest your share, those vegetables will be donated to the food bank and you will not be eligible for a replacement box.
Changing Your Pickup Location - You have the option of changing your pickup location and can do so online though your account.  You must do this at least 2 days before your pickup day. A delivery fee will apply if you are switching from the farm pickup to one of the Ottawa pickup locations. 
Communications - Luxy Farm communicates with you via email on a regular basis to inform you of a payment or to remind you of a scheduled pick up. Sometimes we will need to send out alerts about your order or inform you about happenings on our farm. By becoming a member of our CSA, you are agreeing to open and read all email communications as soon as you see them since much of the information is time sensitive.
Privacy Policy - We do not sell, rent or give our email list, customer list or any personal or financial information to anyone. EVER!
Our Guarantee - Luxy Farm guarantees our produce for quality and freshness, and we pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service. If for any reason, you are not happy, please contact Jonny at luxyfarm@gmail.com or 613-850-5302. We will be happy to replace any product that does not meet your standards.
Your Commitment - Share some of the rewards and risks of the farm by benefitting from the abundances and accepting low yields when crops are affected by unfavourable weather conditions, diseases or pests. Be open to trying new or different vegetables and adjusting your diet and cooking habits to include more seasonal veggies.

Optional - Appreciate knowing how your vegetables are being grown and the farmers growing them by making an appointment to meet us and take a tour of the garden and greenhouse. Workdays are available for individuals and families who want to experience the farm and get their hands dirty!

Online store - Extra veggies can be added to your share through our online store. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, Paypal or Interac e-transfer.
