welcome to week 6 of the CSA. So finally we are getting some rain, which should ensure our veggies get a boost of growth. For some crops, like onions, it will be too late because they didn't receive it during the critical stages of growth. Consequently, yields will be smaller than they were last year.
On the other hand, the dry and less humid conditions were ideal for harvesting garlic which we spent much of last week doing. Yields look good and we look forward to distributing some of the different varieties after they have fully dried and cured in about 3 to 4 weeks.
