2017 CSA week #18

Hello members and friends and welcome to the final week of the CSA for 2017. Here are the veggies you will be receiving:

    First of all, we'd like to thank everyone for supporting us this year. We hope you enjoyed eating the vegetables as much as we enjoyed growing them. Also, a huge thanks to team Luxy: Kim, Jeremy, Ruth, Sarah, Damon and everyone else who helped out along the way. Without you none of this would be possible.
    Overall, I'd say the year didn't turn out too bad given the challenges we had with all the wet weather in the spring. It was a rocky start but once things got going they turned out great. Those were definitely the biggest carrots we have ever grown and that's not to mention the giant onions and leeks. On the down side, our potatoes did suffer from saturated soil and weed pressure and the broccoli didn't turn out as nice as we would have liked. But, we can always dream of next year and the possibilities it holds and we hope you all can join us for another adventure next year.

    In the meantime, we are taking $100 deposits to reserve a spot in next year's CSA and it's never to late order extra items in bulk to get you through the winter. We're also offering fall shares which will consist of 3 bi-weekly distributions throughout November. Each box costs $50 and you may order any or all of them.
