CSA Newsletter - Week 15

Hello CSA members and veggie enthusiasts!

We are going to have a season-end potluck party at the farm in St. Albert on Tuesday, October 20th, from 5-7pm. I will send out an e-invite which you can RSVP to. Bring a dish to share and mingle with other CSA members!
We are also offering fall boxes this year, to be picked up at the same time as the potluck. The fall boxes are $75 and must be ordered in advance. They will look something like this but may change slightly, depending on weather conditions between now and Oct 20th:
  • 5 lbs carrots
  • 5 lbs beets
  • 2 lbs onions
  • 10 lbs winter squashes
  • 2 lbs garlic
  • 2 lbs celeriac
  • 2 lbs parsnips
  • 2 lbs Hakurei turnips
  • 150 g spinach
Please send me an email if you'd like to purchase a fall box. Here is what you can expect at the pickup next week:
You're finally going to receive radishes for the first time this year. Our spring radishes were devoured by the weeds but the fall crop looks great and they're loving this cool weather. Greens are also back with the cool weather! Thanks to those of you who have filled out the survey - we appreciate the feedback and are taking note of the veggies you'd like to see less of in these final weeks. The trade box is always available for swapping out the veggies you don't want to take home. Enjoy your fall bounty with these recipes from Pinterest!
Happy cooking!

  1. t keep to the front vehicle too closely in an attempt to
avoid frequent braking and acceleration. You can buy used auto from your dealer who is not in any respect greedy which enable it to understand you as a human being.
The theory part in the test can be a group of multiple choice questions, 50 altogether, and you've to reply to
a minimum of 43 correctly to pass.
